Andrea GuastamacchioAndrea Guastamacchio, RDN, CDE

Andrea is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist with 20 years of experience. She is a proud graduate of California State University of Long Beach, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She went on to complete her internship at the New York Institute of Technology. She became interested in nutrition after learning how food can be used to prevent and manage many diseases. She was excited by the prospect of helping the community become more proactive and knowledgeable about using food as medicine. Andrea works in the Outpatient Diabetes Education Program and Medical Nutrition Therapy. She specializes in Diabetes education, pre-diabetes, weight management, hypertension, chronic kidney disease, heart healthy lifestyle modifications and more. She enjoys helping clients make lifestyle changes and learning their stories to help them succeed. She is a mom who loves eating and cooking delicious and healthy food with friends and family. She also enjoys what the California lifestyle offers: lots of fresh produce, sunshine, and the beach!


Noel LeNoel Le, RDN

Noel is a dedicated Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with 7 years of experience, committed to nourishing clients through personalized nutrition care. Her passion for nutrition was sparked during her time as a youth outreach facilitator at a community center serving the underserved Somalian refugee community in Minnesota. There, she witnessed the challenges families faced in making the most of limited food options. This experience inspired her to lead nutrition education at the community center, where she helped children and families understand the value of balanced eating and how to access affordable, nutritious food. In her professional practice, Noel specializes in adult weight management, prediabetes, metabolic health, and bariatric surgeries, helping individuals achieve long-term health goals. She thrives on the challenges and diversity of her clients, providing care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Additionally, Noel is actively involved in community outreach, leading classes and speaking at local events to promote healthier lifestyles. Outside of work, Noel is an avid traveler who loves immersing herself in new cultures—especially through their food. She also enjoys staying active through various outdoor activities, including running, hiking, and rock climbing.


Frank Albano Jr, MS, RDNFrank Albano, Jr., MS, RDN

Frank is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist passionate about helping individuals and communities create a positive, healthy relationship with food and guiding them to live well with diabetes, preventing disease progression, or managing other chronic conditions. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics at California State University, Long Beach then pursued a Master of Science in Nutrition and Metabolism and dietetic internship/training from the University of Texas Medical Branch, at Galveston. Currently, Frank provides both inpatient care and outpatient personalized counseling to individuals with a wide array of chronic diseases but has unique interests in diabetes care and eating disorders. He also has been training and assisting teaching classes in the Diabetes Self-Management program as he pursues the Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist credential. Outside of clinical care, Frank is a passionate advocate for sustainable farming/food systems, urban agriculture, and walkable cities/urban planning – all promoting a healthy, happy community. In his free time, he enjoys playing hockey, cooking, exercising, and catching up on diabetes research!


Marissa Minderler, MS, RDNMarissa Minderler, MS, RDN

Marissa is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist driven by her motivation to educate and assist people in achieving their health and wellness goals. Graduating from USC with both a B.S. in Kinesiology and an M.S. in Nutrition, she has always been interested in the impact of nutrition on oncology, fitness and performance, and women's health. During college, she was also a successful track and field athlete competing in throwing events and has been a dedicated personal trainer for 12 years. After completing her internship at USC’s Norris Comprehensive Cancer Care Center, she has been inspired to help patients stay nourished as they navigate a challenging time throughout treatment and into survivorship. She currently teaches the Cancer and Nutrition Series, Nutrition During Cancer Treatment, and the LIVE Well After Cancer classes, along with offering individual nutrition counseling sessions in Radiation Oncology and at Torrance Memorial’s Outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy office.


Erica DrostErica Drost, MS, RDN

Erica is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist dedicated to helping people foster sustainable eating habits that promote long-term health and well-being. She holds an undergraduate degree in Public Health from Taylor University and a Master’s in Nutrition from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With this background, she has learned the importance of creating environments in which people can be healthy, at the same time empowering people to take control of their health. Erica's expertise spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, where she comes alongside individuals to understand the power of food in preventing and managing chronic diseases. Her approach is holistic and evidence-based, emphasizing practical strategies to make healthy eating simple, affordable, and enjoyable at every stage of life. Passionate about debunking nutrition myths, Erica aims to be a trusted partner in her clients’ health journeys of healing their relationship with food. She currently teaches the Cancer and Nutrition Series, Nutrition During Cancer Treatment, and the LiveWell After Cancer Therapy classes. Outside of work, Erica enjoys traveling, hiking, and soaking up the sun on the beach.


Hannah BodenhamerHannah Bodenhamer, RDN

Hannah Bodenhamer is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with an interest in optimizing nutrition intake for disease management and prevention. She earned her Master’s in Nutrition and Food Systems from the University of Southern Mississippi and her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from California State University, Long Beach. She hopes to transform the lives of South Bay residents by making evidence-based nutrition interventions and providing quality nutrition counseling that is accessible to all through group classes, live lectures, blogs, and individual counseling. Hannah believes that through nutrition education for disease prevention, we can build a stronger and healthier future. She plans to pursue additional certifications and obtain expert knowledge in her areas of interest including adult and pediatric weight management, metabolic and bariatric surgeries, and disease prevention. Outside of work, you can find Hannah spending time outdoors and enjoying live music with loved ones.


Kenny LinKenny Lin, RDN

Kenny Lin is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is passionate about helping individuals reach and maintain an optimal state of health and well-being. His specialties and interests include heart health, weight management, nutritional psychology, and sports and performance nutrition. Kenny earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from California State University, Long Beach, and completed his dietetic internship with Wellness Workdays. Kenny believes nutrition is the primary pillar of health promotion and disease prevention. He takes pride in educating and sharing the importance of healthy dietary and lifestyle practices with his community. He enjoys serving a diverse client population in both inpatient and outpatient settings, where he currently teaches the CORE4 Adult Weight Management and Nutrition in Recovery classes. In his free time, Kenny enjoys cooking, playing guitar and writing music, late-night traveling, running and playing basketball, and adding to his sneaker collection.


Michele Manarino, MS, RDN

Michele Manarino, MS, RDN

Michele is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a passion for teaching people how to intuitively listen to their bodies. She has worked in the field of nutrition since 2000. She has extensive experience working with patients diagnosed with eating disorders in residential, hospital, and office settings. Michele earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Food and Nutrition at San Diego State University. She completed her Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetic Internship at California State University, Long Beach. She has been a part of the Torrance Memorial team for 18 years as the primary dietitian for the Eating Disorder Medical Unit. Additionally, she sees private practice patients focusing on disordered eating, wellness, family nutritional counseling, adolescent nutrition, and sports nutrition. She especially enjoys working with adolescents and young adults. She is also a nutrition professor at Long Beach City College. During her free time, Michele enjoys hiking, cooking, and reading.


Brianna ChangBrianna Chang, RDN

Brianna is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is passionate about educating and equipping patients with the tools to promote health and nutrition. She graduated from Pepperdine University with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and continued her education at Pepperdine where she completed her dietetic internship, serving at community sites throughout Los Angeles. She has worked in dietetics for 10 years in inpatient, outpatient, and private practice settings. She is excited to be a part of the inpatient clinical team at Torrance Memorial and teach outpatient Cancer & Nutrition classes. She also works as an inpatient dietitian at St. John’s Health Center in Santa Monica where she is a member of the oncology committee. Through her work in private practice, she developed a deeper appreciation for the unique relationship healthcare practitioners have with their patients and strives to achieve this with all of them. When she is not working with patients, you can find her spending time with her husband and sons, exploring all the beaches, parks, and hiking trails Southern California has to offer.


Sonia VillaseniorSonia Villasenor, RDN

Sonia is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who has been working at Torrance Memorial for 30 years. She specializes in oncology and her goal and passion is helping cancer patients meet their nutritional needs using evidence-based recommendations. Sonia’s counseling incorporates topics including prevention of weight loss, maintenance of optimal nutrition status during cancer treatment, and managing treatment side effects (taste changes, mouth sores, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea) to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life. If needed, she provides recommendations for nutrition support including tube feeding and parenteral nutrition support. Sonia provides outpatient consultations in the outpatient Radiation Oncology for patients who are going through radiation treatments and provides the nutrition support needed. She has experience with conditions including Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes Care, Renal Disease, and Gastrointestinal Disorders. Sonia earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from California State University, Long Beach. She completed her Dietetic Internship at Utah State University. Sonia is bilingual (English/Spanish) and can provide nutrition education to Spanish speaking patients. She loves spending quality time with her two children and her adorable 3 grandkids. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, exercising, and going on long walks by the beach.


Rebecca Tran, MS, RDNRebecca Tran, MS, RDN

Rebecca is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Food Administration from Cal State University, Long Beach, and her Master of Science in Nutrition from Marywood University. As a Clinical Dietitian with over three years of experience at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, she specializes in providing nutritional care to geriatric patients in the Transitional Care Unit. She also provides community nutrition education to children and their families through the Healthy Ever After Program in partnership with the Torrance YMCA. She adeptly tailors dietary plans to meet individual needs, ensuring optimal health outcomes and enhanced quality of life. Her next pursuit will be to work toward becoming credentialed as a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist.


Kristen Hung, MPH, RDNKristen Hung, MPH, RDN

Kristen is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is a champion for wellness and disease prevention. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Science/Dietetics and completed her Master of Public Health degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. Kristen completed her dietetic internship at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. She now serves at Torrance Memorial providing patient care, engaging in employee wellness initiatives, and contributing to community health education efforts through various media publications. At home, Kristen enjoys teaching healthy habits to her two daughters, and in her free time, might be found at Zumba class or enjoying the outdoors.
