Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is a therapeutic approach to treating medical conditions and their associated symptoms using a specifically tailored diet devised and monitored by a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). A physician's referral/order is required prior to scheduling a first appointment with an RDN.
The Medical Nutrition Therapists and Educators at Torrance Memorial are Registered Dietitian Nutritionists with years of experience providing credible and reliable nutrition information. MNT Services are available by physician referral only to treat specific health conditions and illnesses. Many MNT services are covered by insurance.
