Our diagnostic cardiology technicians use the latest technology, including Philips EPIQ echocardiography machines, to deliver enhanced clinical data, improved visualization, and fast, accurate results. These technological advances allow us to provide treating physicians with high-quality data and images that they can use to plan patient care, deliver quality treatment, and minimize the risk of complications during surgery or other procedures.
Our specialists work collaboratively with many cardiology and primary care practices throughout the South Bay - as well as hospitalists and staff at Torrance Memorial - to coordinate diagnostic cardiology care. To improve patient care and the timeliness of results, many referring physicians can view test results at their practices. If there is an urgent need for a test, our specialists are usually able to perform exams within 2 hours and are available to perform on-call echocardiograms.
In addition to using advanced technology and providing seamless diagnostic cardiology testing, our specialists work as a team to deliver results as quickly as possible - often in as little as two hours for inpatients.
