Proposed Revisions to Medical Staff Rules/Regulations & Policies/Procedures

The Bylaws Committee met on February 2, 2024 and reviewed and approved the Medical Staff General Staff Rules & Regulations.

If you wish to comment on the proposed General Staff Rules & Regulations revisions, please send an email with the name of the document and your comments to Layne Kelley, Director, Medical Staff Services/ Performance Improvement, (layne.kelley@tmmc.com) by Monday, February 26, 2024. Comment received after 02/26/2024 will not be considered.

As per the Torrance Memorial Medical Staff Bylaws, Article XV, General Provisions, 15.1-Staff Rules and Regulations and Policies and Procedures, the Medical Executive Committee shall not act on the proposed Rule until the Medical Staff has had a reasonable opportunity to review and comment on the proposed rules. This review and comment opportunity may be accomplished by posting proposed Rules on the Medical Staff website at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled Medical Executive Committee meeting, together with instructions on how interested members may communicate comments. A comment period of at least fifteen (15) days shall be afforded, and all comments shall be summarized and provided to the Medical Executive Committee prior to Medical Executive Committee action on the proposed Rule.
