Minoo Mahmoudi, MD

Originally from Iran, Dr. Mahmoudi trained in Canada, completing her psychiatry residency at the University of Manitoba in 2014. She then pursued specialty training in pediatric and adolescent psychiatry, also at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Mahmoudi worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings in Manitoba and Toronto before relocating to southern California with her family. Dr. Mahmoudi recently completed a 2-year training program in child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the New Center for Psychoanalysis in Los Angeles.

Dr. Mahmoudi is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is also a fellow of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and board certified in adult psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry in Canada. Dr. Mahmoudi believes in a holistic approach, and she strives to provide a safe and healing environment for patients and families.
