Steven D. Fisher, MD

Dr. Fisher has over 37 years of experience as a general surgeon in the South Bay. Dr. Fisher performs the entire spectrum of general surgery procedures with a special interest in treating malignancies, including breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancers, melanoma, and sarcoma, as well as thyroid and parathyroid disease.

Dr. Fisher completed a fellowship is surgical oncology at City of Hope Medical Center, forming the foundation for a long career in performing operations for cancer. Dr. Fisher is active in numerous hospital committees and tumor boards and leads the weekly breast tumor conference at Torrance Memorial Medical Center. Dr. Fisher is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the Society of Surgical Oncology.
