Dr. Soubhi Bahna went to medical school at University of Aleppo, School of Medicine and completed his training in diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism at City of Hope Medical Center and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Prior to specializing in endocrinology, Dr. Bahna completed his residency training in internal medicine at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He practiced as a hospital medicine physician for 8 years. He also served as the director of hospital medicine in an underserved community hospital.
Dr. Bahna seeks to treat all his patients with the highest level of compassion, respect, and clinical excellence. His areas of interest include diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary abnormalities, obesity, weight management and nutrition, as well as bone health. He is an active member of the American Diabetes Association, and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
In his spare time, Dr. Bahna enjoys watching and playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with his wife and family in the beautiful South Bay.
