Dr. Mitchell Parver has been practicing Diagnostic Radiology at Torrance Memorial Medical Center since 1976. He trained at the University of California at San Francisco and then spent two years doing research and clinical radiology at the National Institutes of Health in the Washington, DC area. He developed the Ultrasound Department at the NIH and was its first Director of Ultrasound.
In addition to being a general diagnostic radiologist, Dr. Parver has directed the Nuclear Medicine department at Torrance Memorial and helped developed the department's PET/CT program. He has also been involved in the cardiac program, including interpretation of CT coronary angiograms.
