Joe Ryan Gamboa, MD

Dr. Joe Gamboa grew up in Cerritos, CA, and obtained his B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Gamboa then attended Loma Linda University Medical School and did his residency in internal medicine at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA. Afterwards, he did fellowship training in rheumatology at Loma Linda University Medical Center.

Dr. Gamboa is proficient in musculoskeletal ultrasound and trained under the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR). He also has had research presentations at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Annual Meeting and has contributed a chapter in Spondyloarthropathies for the Kochar Clinical Medicine textbook 6^th edition.

In his spare time, Dr. Gamboa performs the violin and piano, and also enjoys playing basketball, running and hiking.
