Dr. Matchison is board certified in Interventional Cardiology, Adult Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Matchison received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, in Tucson, Arizona. He attended medical school at Ohio State University College of Medicine and Public Health in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California and his general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Matchison is a member of the American Society of Cardiology and American Society of Echocardiography.
He specializes in management of advanced cardiac disease, cardiac catheterization, coronary stent placement, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), echocardiography, and stress echocardiography.
Dr. Matchison was born in Columbus, Ohio. He has been practicing in the South Bay since December 2012.
