Daniel Robert Stephenson, MD

Daniel R. Stephenson, MD is a fellowship-trained board certified orthopedic doctor and surgeon specializing in Complex Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. This includes complex knee problems, joint preservation needs, shoulder injuries, and sports medicine issues. He also treats athletes and non-athletes of all ages for a variety of orthopedic problems. Dr. Stephenson uses non-surgical and surgical treatments, only proceeding with a plan of care after a careful investigation of each of his patient's health history and current orthopedic problem. He recommends surgery only when necessary.

Dr. Stephenson completed his fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the University of Kentucky in 2010. During this additional year of intense training and experience, he had the opportunity to serve as a team physician to professional athletes, as well as student athletes from three universities and many high schools.
