Catherine Alexandra Madorin, MD

Dr. Madorin completed her general surgery residency training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and went on to complete a fellowship in endocrine surgery at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Chicago, IL. She is one of very few endocrine fellowship trained surgeons operating in the greater Los Angeles area. She is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a candidate member of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Madorin has a special interest in thyroid surgery, thyroid cancer, hyperparathyroidism, minimally invasive parathyroid surgery, and adrenal tumors including pheochromocytoma, aldosteronoma, Cushing’s syndrome, and adrenal cancer. She also has a special interest in advanced laparoscopic general surgery and breast surgery. She is the author of numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters on thyroid cancer, operative approaches to adrenal disease and breast surgery.
