Dr. Chang is board-certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology (2009). He completed his residency training at Yale University and served as the Chief Resident from 2007-2008. In 2008 he was hired as a tenure-track member of the Yale School of Medicine with the rank of Assistant Professor.

In addition to his general radiation oncology practice at Yale, Dr. Chang headed the GI Radiation section, where he performed clinical research studies, served as the Principal Investigator for a Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG) trial, and helped to develop Yale's stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) program. He was promoted to Associate Professor in 2014 before leaving to join Torrance Memorial. Dr. Chang has served as a presenter, moderator and invited expert speaker at national and international radiation oncology meetings and has authored over 30 peer-reviewed scientific manuscripts, book chapters, and reports.

Dr. Endicott and Dr. Chang alternate as medical directors of the Radiation Oncology department.

Dr. Chang enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, reading, music, exercising and outdoor activities.
