Melvin Snyder, MD

Melvin Snyder, M.D., raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1967 and Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston in 1971. He completed his surgical internship at the Tufts-New England Medical Center in 1972 and finished his neurosurgical residency at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1977. He was board certified in 1980 and is an Associate Professor of Neurosurgery at UCLA.

He is a member of the American Association of Neurosurgical Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a member of the California Association of Neurological Surgeons and Congress of Neurological Surgeons.

In his free time, Dr. Snyder enjoys snowboarding, running marathons and spending time with his family.
