David S. Chung, MD

Dr. Chung graduated from University of California at Berkeley with Honors and obtained his M.D. from Medical College of Wisconsin where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Chicago Medical Center and fellowship in GI and Hepatology at Scripps Clinic and Green Hospital in La Jolla, California. Prior to joining Digestive Care Consultants, he was a faculty in the Division of Gastroenterology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and Associate Professor of Medicine at UCLA School of Medicine. His main area of interest is interventional endoscopy with emphasis on diagnosis, staging, and endoscopic therapy of gastrointestinal malignancies and benign conditions of pancreatobiliary system and esophagus.
