U.S. News & World Report Ranks Torrance Memorial Top 3% Hospital in California
TORRANCE, Calif., July 28, 2020 – Torrance Memorial Medical Center has once again been recognized as a Best Hospital for 2020-21 for the ninth straight year byU.S. News & World Report, placing the hospital in the top 3% in the state. Torrance Memorial remains the 12th highest ranking hospital for overall hospital quality in the state of California and moved to up in ranking to 6th in the Los Angeles region. Torrance Memorial’s also ranked High Performing in eight specialties and high performing in nine areas of procedures and conditions.
The annual Best Hospitals rankings, now in their 31th year, are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or for common elective procedures.
