Interventional Radiology

Torrance Memorial Medical Center operates one of the busiest interventional radiology programs in the South Bay. A variety of diagnostic and treatment procedures are performed, throught the Graziadio Radiology Center including:

• Peripheral angiography
• Carotid angiography
• Renal angiography
• Uterine fibroid embolization
• Vertebraplasties for spinal fracture
• Kyphoplasties for spine fractures
• Angioplasties
• Stent Placements for all Peripheral and Visceral angiography
• Insertion of chest ports and tunnel catheters

Two procedure rooms are available, and are located in Torrance Memorial's radiology department on the first floor of the hospital. Outpatients with scheduled procedures should check in two hours prior to their appointment in the admitting area. A waiting room for families and loved ones is available.
