Massage

Beyond feeling good, therapeutic massage offers a range of benefits, including increased blood supply and nutrients to the muscles, removal of toxins and strengthening of the immune system. Massage types available include: Swedish, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, shiatsu and pregnancy.

Reflexology

Reflexology offers gentle stimulation using thumb and finger techniques to activate nerve endings and reflex points in the ears, hands and feet. Reflexology sessions are deeply relaxing and help the body rejuvenate itself. Sessions are conducted with the client fully clothed.

Reiki

Reiki is an ancient system of balancing the energy fields of the body. A standard treatment includes the placing of hands on positions around the head, shoulders, stomach and feet. Sessions are conducted with the client fully clothed in a comfortable, relaxed position.

Acupressure

Acupressure is a healing art based on the principle that there are many energy pathways that feed life into the body. Acupressure and acupuncture employ the same philosophies, however, with acupressure only the gentle touch of the fingers is applied, no needles.

Aromatherapy for Daily Living

Discover how to use aromatherapy to restore mind and body for health and wellness. In this experiential presentation, you will learn which essential oils to use in the home and workplace for stress and relaxation.

Basic Meditation

Meditation is an ancient method of focusing the mind to cultivate awareness and achieve a higher state of consciousness. Those who participate in meditation have experienced lowered blood pressure and improved cardiovascular health.

Bones for Life

This series of classes uses gentle, safe and easy exercises to help prevent joint degeneration and is taught by a guild-certified Feldenkrais practitioner and registered physical therapist.

Flexible Body/Flexible Mind

Using the Feldenkrais Method, participants learn gentle movements which tap into the body-mind connection creating more flexibility of movement. Appropriate for all fitness levels, the class helps to facilitate freer, easier movement in a pleasurable way. This is a floor exercise class.

Guided Imagery

The mind communicates to the body through images. Participants will learn how to focus the mind on positive images to promote mental and physical health and to make desired lifestyle changes.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong is an ancient art and discipline that enhances the body's energy flow and improves general well being. This gentle practice is performed incorporating rhythmic breathing and has movements in standing, sitting and lying positions.

Reflexology

Reflexology particpants will learn gentle stimulation techniques of the feet and hands which help to refresh, renew, and most importantly relax the entire body. Classes combine lecture and hands-on experience.

T'ai Chi Ch'uan

T'ai Chi Ch'uan is a practice that inspires physical and mental well-being using slow, graceful movement.
